FOR SELLERS

Create a clear product listing

Photos, prices, specifications, conditions and information that helps buyers decide.

Updated 19 September 2026
The essentials

A useful listing answers the questions a buyer would ask in your shop. Be specific about the item, price, condition, delivery and after-sales support.

What to include

Listing detailWhat a buyer needs
Product nameBrand or maker where relevant, product type and model. Avoid unsupported superlatives or unrelated search terms.
DescriptionMaterials, dimensions, colour, size, compatibility, what is included and what is sold separately.
ConditionSelect New, Used or Refurbished accurately. Explain wear, missing parts, repairs and any known defects.
PriceState the price for the pictured item or pack in rand. Explain pack size, included taxes where applicable and any extra costs.
DeliveryChoose the appropriate option and explain coverage, collection arrangements, charges and expected dispatch time.
After-salesExplain how to contact you about cancellations, returns, warranties and product problems.

Use a useful, honest photo

  • Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP file up to 5 MB. The current product form accepts one main photo.
  • Use a sharp, well-lit image that shows the actual product or accurately represents the model and condition.
  • Use only photos and brand material you have the right to publish. Do not copy another seller’s listing without permission.
  • Do not include private customer information, payment details or misleading badges in the photo.

Help shoppers find your product

Use the words a buyer would naturally search for: the product type, brand or maker, model, size and material where relevant. For example, “Oak bedside table with drawer – 45 cm” is more informative than “Amazing deal”. Write a unique description based on the actual item rather than repeating keywords or copying another shop.

Each active listing has a product page you can share with customers. Keep the title, price, photo, business location and product details accurate. Paused or deleted listings are removed from product pages and the sitemap. Search engines decide which pages to index and how to rank them; publishing a listing does not guarantee search visibility.

Sizes, colours, bundles and quantities

The current listing form does not have a variant selector or automatic quantity inventory. Make the offered size, colour and pack quantity explicit. Use separate listings when different items have different prices, or ask buyers to confirm the exact option before paying.

Only link a gateway page that matches the listed product and price. Do not send buyers to a donation page, subscription or a page for a different product.

A simple description structure

  • What it is: brand, model and the main use.
  • Specifications: dimensions, material, finish, capacity or compatibility.
  • Included: quantity, accessories, packaging and any exclusions.
  • Condition: new, used or refurbished, with any wear or known faults.
  • Fulfilment: collection or courier, delivery quote and dispatch expectations.
  • After-sales: returns contact and warranty information, without excluding statutory rights.

Update or pause your listing

Use the seller dashboard to edit, pause, resume or delete a product. Pause it when you cannot fulfil a sale. The site does not automatically reduce stock after payment.

After changing the product’s price, name, condition or delivery option, review its gateway page and save its payment settings again. Keep customer agreements and sale records outside the listing so you still have them if it is removed.
